Making a difference, one dance step at a time!

Helping people in crisis is challenging when the LGBTQ+ community’s needs are greater than the available resources. Twirl to the World is committed to filling the gaps through our direct-to-client Twirl Assistance Program (TAP) and charitable giving to our partner agencies.

Our History

From our humble beginnings in 2009 when the price of admission for our inaugural event was a teddy bear for children with HIV/AIDS, to now – in our 17th year of events we have collected over 8,000 stuffed animals & toys for area children in need and donated over $650,000 to local LGBTQ+/Ally charities and programming, including our very own Twirl Assistance Program (TAP)!

We are an all-volunteer organization and 100% of monies raised go back into the community.

Even as we evolve and grow, we remain focused on “making a difference, one step at a time.”
